Herbed Aioli & Kickin Ketchup

One dip would never do (for me, at least!), and so here are a couple of quick options that will cover all the bases.  A zesty, creamy aioli and a new take on ketchup that propels it straight out of ordinary.

Herbed Ailoi Ingredients:
1/3 cup mayo
1 garlic clove
Juice of lemon wedge
2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley and basil
Coarse salt and pepper to taste

Kickin Ketchup Ingredients:
1/3 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon of chili powder

Make ‘em:
Herbed Aioli:  Mash the garlic clove with a fork until it becomes paste-like.  Add to mayo, lemon juice, herbs, salt and pepper in a food processor.  Pulse until fully combined (nobody likes to be surprised by a big chunk of raw garlic!)
Kickin Ketchup:  Combine ingredients in a small bowl until combined.  That’s it!
